I am on the camino portugues direction santiago de compostela. my freends and I decided to go to fátima too. on the way to fátima we went to a small town called minde. on the square we asked an older man sitting on a parking bench where the next restaurant was. we hadn't eaten in the morning and it was almost pm. he personally accompanied us a few blocks away, actually it was about a minute to walk. we came to this restaurant and read the sign: closed to pm! the older man waved us the hands and went back. came out a lady of the owners) and she waved us into the back of the restaurant. they let us in, even though they were closed! we wanted to eat! we met the man as soon as we were inside. they set us up, told us what they had provided and offered us a drink. I can't express the gratitude we have for this couple and the food was amazing! the best hugging and dessert was just as amazing, it reminded me of my tantes from mexiko. If I ever get back to mind, I will definitely come back to eat at normal business hours. Many thanks for allowing us to pilger in their restaurant, they could have just said that we are closed, but they have not and that says much about them and their people. thanks! we will always remember this place
