We went to Horta tonight as a family of 12 as my in laws live here. We have been going there for over eight years and tonight I was shocked. We went early as we were a big group and was told they would not put two tables together to accommodate us and we would need to sit separate!!!! The place was empty. We won't be going back there. Think they have forgotten that once tourist session is over its people like us that keep there business going. Won't be going back there again!!! We left straight away and went to another local restaurant which was excellent!!!!

My hairdresser has been visiting Nuno's for quite some time with her family and spoke highly of this bar and we weren't disappointed when we visited it.Nuno and his staff are very welcoming and make you feel as though your one of the regulars who are also friendly.We visited several times during our weeks stay and will be adding this bar to our regular haunts whenever we are in Portugal.The beer is cold and cheap the welcome warm and friendly and we've heard the food is good and plentiful. A must visit bar
