A decent meal for our party of but marred by forgetting completely one persons order. It meant we all had finished by the time the overlooked order arrived. It happened to be that persons birthday celebration. There were a number of other oversights and mistakes and a general lack of attentiveness.

Superb food...go for the bargain Rubi package covering visits and booze gets thrown in. that was our 2nd visit in the restaurant. the staff is friendly and helpful. we enjoyed our meal, especially the Scabbard fish with passion.

our last meal on madeira would not have chosen a better restaurant. it is our first time away with a 5mo baby so always try a little tense new place. the personal was welcoming and attentive when the baby (aboveable) woke up and the food and wine pairings were unpretentious: only that waits until our last night to try it! prawns and snapper were divine, the salmon and otopus were tasteful and the wee was delicious. fantastic end of a wonderful week!

the eating in the rosengarten is consistently delicious, beautifully presented and imaginatiw of the cook combined. the employees are very attentive to the guests everyone needs. a wonderful experience all around.

We just had the most wonderful evening in The Wanderer. This should be on top of everyone’s list of things to do on Madeira. Selim and Charlotte are amazing hosts. We felt at home from the start. The food, the drinks and the service, everything works together to create a wonderful experience. Melissa and I will be back and hope to make it before you wander of to another place.
