For the beginning.... I really like the bread from this backery. Today in the morning I went to the backery to buy some bread for the breakfast. When I arrived I saw that there were a lot of people at the backery bit only one bread of the bolo de agua and three of the bolas del paderia. That are the maine bread of the backery. I thought that they will have further ones at the oven. When I ordered - more than they have at that time of course - the man told me that they have the bread at the oven until yet and it will take 12 minutes until it will be ready. He offered me instead other bread which was more expensive and doesn't taste as good... I hope that it was only a bad day of the backery. Otherwise when it will happen again I won't return anymore...

This review is about the cafeteria located in Carcavelos area but they belong to the same owners. Well known for their bakery but they also serve special meals in their restaurant area that are changed every day besides their regular menu. We were a large group and everybody was happy with their meal. The sangria was great and the desserts are their specialty. Well presented, tasty dishes at very reasonable prices. Best if you use a Taxi from your hotel.

O preço é francamente justo, o que é cada vez mais raro poder ser dito.A comida tem uma qualidade acima da média, uma apresentação bastante cuidada e sofisticada, denotando conhecimentos técnicos apurados.Por vezes temos de aguardar um pouco pelos pratos pedidos, o que se justifica e enaltece pelo facto de tudo ser feito no momento.Recordo o pica-pau da ementa anterior, onde a carne era excepcionalmente tenra. Já não achei o mesmo no pica pau com mostarda da ementa actual. Um prato, uma entrada e uma dose de arroz foram perfeitamente suficientes para duas pessoas.Espero que tenha sucesso e que a qualidade da matéria prima se mantenha.Já repeti algumas vezes e repetirei certamente outras tantas.

We accidentally found this bar/restaurant. The staff were very friendly, and they were hopeful that we were going to eat there. So we promised them that we would go back for lunch the day after. We ate there, and was not disappointed. I had a dish with whiting and vegetables, and my wife had a tuna salad. Very nice! Followed by a chocolate dessert. We then had 2 or 3 glasses of wine, and 2 brandy and cokes. The bill was just over 18 Euro. We enjoyed this restaurant and the hospitality of the staff, that we went back 2 more times. It's well worth the visit. One day we ate a sandwich of thinly sliced liver, that had been cooked in red wine. It was delicious.

Situado no centro da Parede, restaurante pequeno, confortável e calmo, sem grandes barulhos nem confusões. Funcionários afáveis e atenciosos. Comida variada, bem confecionada e em quantidade. Preços muito acessíveis. Aos fins de semana deve fazer reserva senão fica à espera. Óptima relação qualidade/preço num espaço acolhedor e onde se pode conversar durante a refeição sem ter de quase gritar, pois os ruídos do ambiente normais são quase nulos.

Cata Sol is a simple plain café snack bar, as many you can find in residental areas around the country, usually aiming serving the habitants of the neighborhood; But this one stands out.The top score goes out to one winner dish!! The awesome Prego - Beef steak sandwish.Is simply delicious, metal grilled rare, medium, well done ... Everybody is simle and lay back in satisfaction.The bread is mix grain oven, toasted keeping the bread crunchy, instead of falling apart due to steak blood. Served with garlic and some butter, i believe. Yummy!Here you can ask for chips, dish of the day, several tapas like octopuss salad, moelas, panados... Even though i belive owner is just doing a good job serving the clientele, a spontaneous fame is growing around the prego. This spot has what it takes to be a great tapas spot!The decor is dubious, especially for a Benfica fan like myself. Go check for your self!Keep up!
