For many years we were good clients but last time it was disappointing.The sardines were deep frozen but the sparkling wine was still fresh.Having to drive, I asked the waiter if we could take the remaining home.No problem, but when we went to pay the bill, we had to pay another time the wine.If been drunken in the restaurant, it was included but underway we could have police inspection.This was our the last visit.The restaurant closed his doors now.

We discovered Papaki in passing and were so glad we did, excellent Portuguese dishes in a pleasant atmosphere served with charm & courtesy.. a very novel idea of making your choice from a good array of Portuguese Fayre, & whatever you choose is then weighed & that is exactly what you pay for...a brilliant idea.. well done.

Found this restaurant on our way back from the Algarve to Lisbon and wasn't sure if stopping or not and glad we did. Home cooked rice tomato salad and fresh fried fish all very tasty. Very happy.

When I entered, the waiter looked at me as to an estrangeiro not welcome. I asked for the chicken piri piri and got a not pleasant answer that it was not available yet. It seemed also more expensive than in other places. I left and went to my neighbours restaurant that is small but has quality.

Good place to stop for coffee. Very central and has good book exchange too. Never eaten here but take away cakes are nice.
