I don't give out five stars. This restaurant gets one: the freshest of snapper and octopus (both on display in their fabulous display) were cooked perfectly on the grill and served with fresh vegetables and rice and frites. We had flan (homemade) for dessert- it was fantastic. Highly recommend.

Great selection of wines and beers (including IPA and stout if you want something different). Madeira wine available in different ages years, years, years) and four variations of sweetness. Nikitas (non-alcoholic ice cream cocktails) were really good too. Great atmosphere and friendly staff!

If you want grilled BBQ meat and happen to be in the São Vicente area look no further! The best steaks and grilled food on the island. No frills but that is not important. Many locals (of which I am one.. eat here. Just great!
